Overview

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for the content management of the transactional and brand website including functionality, strategy, promotional activity, photoshoots, merchandising and product descriptions, seasonal buy, stock availability and the eCommerce budget. This award-winning luxury Womenswear brand sells worldwide, the collections are ever evolving offering feminine shapes with an inspired creative edge.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse sales and stock holding and provide reports on a periodic basis, using Google Analytics.
  • Test new functionality and trouble-shooting any site issues.
  • Increase customer database, site visits and demand for the product through use of newsletters, social media and excellent customer service.
  • Research and contribute creative ideas to develop the website brand assets.
  • Update the site for new projects, celebrity dressing and other promotional materials.
  • Product merchandising collaborating with the relevant team.
  • Input product details and descriptions.
  • Arrange photoshoots for all site product.
  • Support with customer services, (answer the phone, personal shopper).
  • Liaising with the sales and production teams to ensure product is ready and available for purchase as soon as possible, and all stock sharing opportunities are leveraged.
  • Work with the sales team and COO to complete the seasonal buy for the website.
  • Liaise with relevant teams on development briefs.
  • Manage e-commerce budget.
  • Oversee department interns.

Qualifications

  • eCommerce Manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Experience with CMS systems and technology and ShopifyPlus.
  • Understanding of web technologies including online video, Flash, Ajax, CSS, including excellent Photoshop skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced eCommerce team working for a small to medium size fashion brand.
  • Sound commercial and numerical skills including the ability to communicate clearly in a pressured environment.
  • Ability to independently manage workflow and prioritize tasks in order to meet competing and changing deadlines, with a sound awareness of the team requirements.
  • Ability to confidently communicate with external teams to coordinate assets and resolve issues.
  • Creative and fast problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous nature and eye for detail.
  • Confidence to contribute ideas to the eCommerce team.
