As Product Development Coordinator you will assist the PD Manager in ensuring all Women’s RTW samples meet with the designer’s vision and are delivered on time and in line with brand expectations and quality standards. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in product development for a luxury or contemporary womenswear brand, be highly organised and demonstrate strong attention to detail in collection development.


Product Development

  • Assist PD Manager in sourcing raw materials for each season.
  • Send out colour standards, track and approve the lab dips.
  • Ensure that the key measurements given to develop blocks are in line with brand body measurements.
  • Assist with the launch and tracking of all prototypes and SMS samples.
  • Ensure labels and size pips are always in stock and ready to send.
  • Assist PD Manager with ordering raw materials.
  • Update sample tracker with sample sent and received back dates.
  • Create packing lists for all packs that are sent out to suppliers.
  • Create trim and fabric books for all garment suppliers.
  • Assist the PD Manager with finding and inputting commodity codes.

Design & Wholesale

  • Assisting design with artwork for badges.
  • Assisting design with artwork for placement of embellishment.
  • Upload pictures and prices onto the look book and send the look book to wholesale.


  • Launch technical specification packs with factories, (China, Lithuania, Portugal, Poland and the UK).
  • Arrange fits, coordinate samples, pattern cutter and fit model.
  • Ensure all garments are measured prior to the fitting.
  • Work closely with the pattern cutter, managing priorities and providing all information to make the initial pattern or amendment.
  • Write comments from proto to final PP1.
  • Responsible for the technical and quality elements of all the styles from beginning to end.
  • Assist the PD Manager with setting up styles and inputting fabrics and raw materials on Zedonk.


  • Product Development Assistant or Coordinator with a minimum 2 years’ experience in Women’s RTW for a contemporary or luxury brand.
  • Proficient in Excel, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Highly organised and detail oriented with ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Efficient in working to critical path deadlines and margin requirements.
  • Strong commercial understanding of construction techniques for multi-product womenswear.
  • Diplomatic and clear communicator.
  • Positive team player working effectively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
