  • Overview

    The Wholesale Manager is responsible for managing UK and international wholesale accounts and private client base maintaining current business in a focused market segment whilst maximising growth and exceeding targets. Working out of season to identify, propose and implement new business opportunities and provide sales follow up. The successful candidate will have a minimum 3 years wholesale experience including key account management for a women’s contemporary or luxury fashion brand and be looking for their next career step into a Wholesale Manager role.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for client relationships and communications, showroom appointments and account management from initial order, processing, consolidation, confirmation, shipment and relevant paperwork.
    • Responsible for sales during market (two seasons) to drive orders and ensure all stores are satisfied.
    • Organisation of the showroom and the appointment schedule.
    • Develop wholesale and retail pricing structure with seasonal price lists to ensure collections are competitive, on brand, and meet company margin targets.
    • Actively manage customer orders to ensure that they meet deadlines, review all orders, send OCs, update all T&Cs, agree payment terms and assist with late payments where required.
    • Customer outreach for private client pre-orders, order taking, processing, and shipping.
    • Organize bi-annual sales/pop-up events in London in coordination with the Studio Manager.
    • Be responsible for updating the inventory and managing stock take.
    • Develop and nurture relationships with clients (both department store and specialty store accounts) through constant communication and support. Share all collection and brand assets with clients seasonally.
    • Undertake frequent visits to stockists, propose innovative solutions to meet their needs and maximise sales.
    • Create brand and product knowledge training packs, conduct product training sessions and train seasonal showroom staff for all collections.
    • Monitor sell-through reports closely to increase customer spending by suggesting re-orders and swaps where possible. Manage any claims, returns, and end-of-season return agreements.
    • Prepare weekly reports including, but not limited to, sales figures, sales forecasts, stock levels, bestsellers, KPI’s and Visual Merchandising.
    • Liaise closely with the warehouse to send customer pick tickets, issue commercial invoices and country-specific paperwork (e.g. COO, EUR1).
    • Generate invoices for shipped goods and send to customers promptly to ensure timely payments.
    • Ensure the smooth running of all accounts, orders and transactions to make sure all stock is delivered on time and Zedonk is accurate and up to date.
    • Continual market research to understand market potential and competitor environment. Identify new markets and create outreach plan to implement.
    • Act as brand guardian, coaching and educating clients to ensure guidelines are implemented in order to maximize commercial gains and respect for the brand. Work with retail merchandising teams to make sure the collection is well displayed and represented.
    • Continuously update and develop customer database.
    • Liaise with Production team to clearly understand and anticipate delivery dates of finished goods and relay to customers accordingly.
    • Work closely with Financial Manager and Director to plan incoming payment schedule.

    Qualifications

    • Sales Executive or Senior Wholesale Executive with a minimum 3 years’ fashion wholesale experience within a contemporary or luxury womenswear fashion brand.
    • Fluent English, well-spoken and professional verbal and written communication skills.
    • Confident interpersonal skills communicating effectively at all levels.
    • Passion for contemporary luxury womenswear with excellent commercial awareness.
    • Highly organised team player with strong time management skills.
    • Excellent administration skills, detail focused and accurate.
    • Proficiency in Zedonk essential.
