    As Assistant Product Developer you will be working across multi-product womenswear supporting the Senior Product Developers in collection development ensuring products reflect the creative vision  of the brand whilst meeting price, quality and margin objectives. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience as a Product Development Assistant or Assistant Product Developer specialising in contemporary or luxury fashion and be inspired by an opportunity to work in a large brand structure.


    • Support the senior product developers in development of the seasonal collection in line with the range plan, price, quality and delivery objectives.
    • Support the development team in cross-costing of styles with a selection of factories.
    • Liaise with the fabric team to gather raw material prices, lead times and minimums.
    • Communicate any instructions to factories in a clear and understandable language.
    • Notify the Senior Developers with any changes in cost, lead-time or quantity and work together to agree a commercial outcome to any unexpected issues; communicate outcome effectively.
    • Liaise with the fabric team on the critical path for raw materials, lab dips and trims.
    • Attend weekly product meetings with the technical and merchandising teams to review all styles and discuss any issues.
    • Confirm all key product deadlines with factories and chase all relevant information and development samples in line with critical path milestones.
    • Work proactively with Design, Product Development, Production, Fabric, Merchandising and Technical to ensure product requirements and any issues are communicated in a timely and effective manner.
    • Chase base tests reports for all raw materials and review with the Senior Product Developers.
    • Attend fit meetings as required and support the development and technical team in communicating any changes to factories and relevant departments. Monitor and highlight any changes that may have an effect on price or lead time.
    • Work with the Design team and supply chain to ensure timely lab dip submission and approval.
    • Update all relevant data systems daily to ensure accuracy of critical path targets.
    • Raise and issue PO’s in an accurate and timely manner.


    • Assistant Product Developer with at least 2 years’ experience in product development of women’s contemporary or luxury fashion.
    • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
    • Ability to prioritise workload to meet critical path deadlines.
    • Proactive and solution oriented.
    • Know what and when to refer upwards and what to manage on own initiative.
    • Take pride and responsibility for own work; be able to take on additional tasks when necessary.
    • Use resources effectively to meet all deadlines.
