  • Overview

    The Product Development & Production Assistant will support the Head of PD & Production in delivering the seasonal collections with responsibility for ensuring all product information is accurate and up to date from initial concept through to bulk delivery. The collections comprise ethically and sustainably sourced, elevated men’s and women’s casualwear promoting engineered fabrics, architectural shapes and sharp lines. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role for a contemporary or luxury fashion brand. Key attributes will include; excellent numeracy, meticulous attention to detail, advanced Excel skills, excellent organisation and effective multi-tasking abilities.


    • Assist on all aspects of the seasonal collection development ensuring each style conforms to the critical path from initial concept to bulk delivery.
    • Create technical packs, updating product information as required, ensuring that the workroom, pattern cutter and manufacturer are all informed of any changes in a timely manner.
    • Create Sampling and Production BOMs, ensuring all information is accurate and complete based on sample amendments.
    • Regular communication with European and UK suppliers being responsive to their needs, solving problems where possible or escalating if further input if required.
    • Maintain all line sheet data, ensuring it is accurate and up to date at all times.
    • Support in maintaining all costs and pricing for raw materials, prototypes, samples and finished goods.
    • Raise PO’s for seasonal sampling and production raw materials as instructed communicating requirements to suppliers in a clear and concise manner.
    • Manage the seasonal sample tracker and communicate any delays or changes to the Head of PD & Production.
    • Data entry ensuring all product and raw material information including is accurate and up to date on World On A Hanger.
    • General administrative support.


    • Product Development & Production Assistant with a minimum 2 years’ experience as a Studio Assistant, Product Development or Production Assistant for a contemporary or luxury fashion brand.
    • Good basic technical knowledge of multi-product Ready-to-Wear.
    • Able to simultaneously work on multiple collections with great attention to detail.
    • Experience liaising effectively with European factories whilst working in tandem with the in-house atelier.
    • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills, proficiency in MS Word.
    • Experience working with World On A Hanger or an equivalent PLM system.
    • Fluent and professional written and spoken English.
    • Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Highly organized with excellent time management skills.
