  • Overview

    As eCommerce & Digital Marketing Manager you will be responsible for the operational day-to-day running of the website, digital marketing strategy and campaigns for this luxury brand managing an eCommerce & Digital Assistant.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years’ experience in Digital Communications & Marketing including website content management (Brightpearl), copywriting & SEO, marketing communications and social media marketing.

    Responsibilities

    Customer Retention

    • Manage the segmentation of customer data.
    • Drive the marketing and loyalty campaigns around the tiers of customers.

    eCommerce Management

    • Mentoring and managing a Marketing & eCommerce assistant.
    • Manage functionality of the transactional website, (Brightpearl).
    • Point of contact for potential external partners; Digital Developers, Warehouse, Affiliates, and any other contractors, ensuring coordination is running smoothly and any problems are ironed out, including site and other digital tools functionality. This applies to the main website and the Blog.
    • Manage eCommerce orders through to fulfilment.
    • Manage Customer Service.
    • Update website policies and resolve any issues related to the website usage, orders, shipping.

    Buying & Photography

    • Seasonal buying for eCommerce and press gifting based on OTB.
    • Managing the sales campaign and discounts ensuring the brand is aligned with competitors.
    • Liaise with the Creative Director and Creative Manager to select photos for the website after photo-shoots.
    • Oversee the web assistant in re-sizing and optimising imagery (imagery provided by creative department) for web purposes.

    Copywriting & SEO

    • Manage all web content including imagery, product descriptions, content and blog.
    • Work closely with the Creative Director/Creative Manager to manage and update the content schedule monthly.
    • Create all product feeds, adding product descriptions, attributes, meta details, optimising images and ensuring that the process adheres to SEO best practice.
    • Merchandise the online offer.
    • Optimise and improve the online customer experience to maximise conversion.
    • Coordinating SEO across the site from products, categories, pages and social media.
    • Identify SEO possibilities for growth and implement, including reviewing the IA and ensuring the site is adhering to best practice.

    PPC & Digital Advertising

    • Manage Google AdWords account, including budgets and reporting.
    • Set and run the campaigns and adjust accordingly.
    • Support marketing with competitions and advertising.
    • Manage and coordinate affiliates
    • Build and manage social media ads.

    Email Marketing

    • Manage Mail Chimp platform.
    • Brief email to Digital Marketing agency, providing content and artworks.
    • Coordinate with the Web Assistant on upload artwork to MailChimp.
    • Schedule email marketing activity, database and affiliates.

    Social Media Marketing

    • Act as Manager/Editor of all branded social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr ad strategize with the Creative Director/Creative manager regarding Instagram.
    • Devise the weekly social media editorial calendar.
    • Create trackable content using Google Analytics Tools.
    • Plan, create, produce, and manage sponsored campaigns across Facebook, Instagram and Twitter utilising Facebook for Business tools and Twitter for Business.
    • Monitor content performance daily.
    • Liaise with the sales agents to monitor wholesale partners activity, forming marketing strategies when possible.
    • Manage and allocate budgets to campaigns to maximise results.
    • Work to maximise engagement and followers.
    • Engage with brand stakeholders, social media influencers, clients, and stockists on social media.
    • Brief Creative team on visual assets needed for specific campaigns.
    • Keep updated and test latest social media marketing tools, platforms, new technologies, app updates.
    • Work directly with the Creative Director and MD to highlight key collaboration partners.

    Analytics & Reporting

    • Weekly and monthly performance reporting of site and correlated digital marketing activity, focusing on traffic, engagement, conversion and sales.
    • Identify ways to drive traffic, conversion, customer retention and overall online improvements.
    • Email marketing performance reporting.
    • End-of-season sales & merchandise reporting, (bestsellers by category/product, before and after markdowns).
    • Constantly monitoring of the eCommerce industry best practice and strategy planning.
    • Monthly social media reporting.

    Qualifications

    • eCommerce & Digital Marketing Manager with a minimum 5 years’ experience working in a similar role for a small growing fashion brand.
    • Experience driving digital sales through proven online strategies.
    • Experience identifying improvements based on consumer feedback to improve customer experience. 
    • Excellent communication skills able to work effectively cross-functionally understanding priorities and workload of other departments within the business.
    • Computer savvy including Brightpearl, BigCommerce, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, Perfect Audience, Facebook Ads Manager, Pinterest Ads, Moz, MailChimp, Word, Excel.
    • Good organizational skills and ability to work to deadlines. 
    • Well-spoken and confident in liaising with people at all levels.
    • Proactive with excellent eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Flexible and proactive attitude.
