  • Overview

    The Assistant Store Manager will help drive sales and retail growth for the flagship store of this beautiful contemporary luxury womenswear label, whilst delivering exceptional clienteling and customer service. The role will also support the E-Commerce Manager with customer service and shipments.


    The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ fashion retail experience in contemporary or luxury womenswear, with natural leadership and strong organisation skills together with a passion for supporting the day to day running of a boutique, maximising sales opportunities by offering a first class customer experience.


    Store hours are Monday to Friday 10-6 and Saturday 10-5. The store opens on Sundays from April to July.


    • Meeting annual sales budget and retail KPIs objectives; maximising sales growth by creating an exceptional client experience.
    • Running the store day-to-day ensuring a high standard of operations including overall presentation and ambience of the store and overall client experience.
    • Ensuring high visual merchandising standards at all times.
    • Change the window of the flagship store weekly to ensure new product is promoted.
    • Be brand ambassador in a client facing role sharing the brand message with customers.
    • Utilise and enhance the customer database to establish strong CRM activities, focused on encouraging client loyalty.
    • Develop client relationships and create a ‘community of women’ supportive of the brands social message and initiatives.
    • Build, develop and update customer profiles on a weekly basis.
    • Analysing performance results and report accordingly to the team to improve the business (customer feedback, production fit, sell through data).
    • Manage stock inventory with Sales & Operations Manager, reviewing frequently to driving efficiencies and maximise productivity and sales opportunities.
    • Support E-commerce Manager with online orders ensuring timely deliveries are met.
    • Manage and support sample sales.
    • Help support and run sales and marketing events/pop-ups and trunk shows.
    • Manage and train sales interns.


    • Sales or Senior Sales Associate with at least 2 years’ fashion retail and leadership experience, capable of using transferable skills to assist in the running of a luxury boutique.
    • Luxury or contemporary fashion experience preferable.
    • Well spoken, confident, professional and personable attitude, fluent English essential.
    • Aptitude for styling, understated luxury taste level.
    • Experience in supporting store targets.
    • Ability to drive the delivery of a first-class customer experience representative of a luxury brand.
    • Flexible to accommodate retail schedules such as weekends, evenings and peak trade periods.
    • Proven experience building long-term customer relationships.
    • Experience working to targets and assisting with store operations.
